An average surf with a spectacular sunrise would sum up the last week on Sydney's beaches. Those fleeting pink and crimson morning moments are always well worth the early rise and have graced the Autumn dawn on no less than 3 occasions in the past 7 days. You couldn't imagine a more brilliant scene.
When the sky is lit like radioactive fairy-floss you want to view it from a dozen different angles and be in 50 different places all at once, or at least freeze the scene for a while as we meticulously arrange our props and scoot and shoot from one destination to the next. The same might be said for an epic day of waves. Lets just rewind and have it all over again and ride it in a dozen different ways.
The surf has been pushing in some size lately but been fouled by constant onshore winds. The exception being a few hours on Friday which I of course missed. Looks like we might have something to cheer about soon as another low deep in the south works its way into the end of the week. Water is still a cosy 22-23 degrees, loving it!
Next week is all about a National Parks Association of NSW proposal to establish a Marine Park right here in Sydney. Really important stuff!! Until then its cheers to you guys that rocked up on Saturday and mowed down the esky in true Aussie style. We got some nice pics in the water made some new friends and brainstormed a few mean ideas for good times to come.
Enjoy your life this week,
